ABOUT THE FILM
Solomon is a dedicated academic. Tough but fair. Shrewd yet patient. The cooler head looking for compromise. As a firm believer in the American education system, he is committed to making the best of a bad situation. So, when one of his students accuses another of cheating on the mid-term RTTI, an exam designed to measure "hardship," his skills as an administrator are put to the test.
EQUIVALENCE
Originally written as a short story, 'Acid Test' began with a singular and overriding question at its heart:
“How does one measure suffering?”
Presuming anything like that could even be quantified, the “what-if” at the heart of our film is at once serious and absurd, its implications ominous and ridiculous.
HIGHLIGHTS
We’re proud to announce that since its completion in Fall 2018, “Acid Test” has appeared at the 2020 LA Underground Film Forum and ranked as a Semi-Finalist at the 2020 Blow Up International Art House Film Festival in Chicago.
